The Rosneath Peninsula Highland Gathering was revived in 2006 after a four year break. The event is a traditional Highland Games with a family emphasis. The traditional events of piping, highland dancing, heavy weight, cycling, hill race, tug o'war, athletics are enhanced with side shows, carnival rides, stalls, food bars and of course, the beer tent.
